Well....we went to Biloxi, MS last week on vacation to the casinos. While we were there we decided to visit Petsmart and get Abby (our baby/dog) a toy. The sign out front said "Pet Adoptions today" and I was like oh, crap. :dog:

Chris immediately ran to the back and fell in love with these 2 little beagles. After holding one and talking we decided to adopt and save the pets life.

Its a boy --- we named him Spencer and he's 8.7 lbs right now. He'll be a small beagle that gets 13 in tall and weighs approx. 20-25 lbs.

We love him to death and he's so sweet with Abby. They are the best of friends now. I love to cuddle with him at night.

Let me work on changing the pic size and then I'll post them!!! :elephant:

hehe! Congrats on your new little pup. That is great that him and Abby are already best friends. Too cute. :D

yeah!!! Can't wait to see pics! That is wonderful news to hear that you possibly saved Spencer's life!

Haha! So I'm not the only sap around here. :D (I took Abbey -our new pup- home from a student at school if you remember correctly... :lol: ) Good for you! I bet the pups really enjoy each other! I wish our Phoebe (cat) would enjoy Abbey! They aren't exactly best of friends yet. However, I took abbey home with us to my mom and dad's this weekend, and my mom's dog Lilo really LOVES abbey! THEY were best pals. :D mom was sad to see us leave b/c she said Lilo would be lonely! (Lilo is a mini pin. Abbey is a jack russell. They are about the same size right now - still pups) VERY CUTE!

Congrats on the new pup! I'm a big pushover when it comes to wagging tails and sad eyes. That's why I stay FAR FAR away from animal shelters :D

I love that first one where Abby is peering down at Spencer. They are so cute :D
