Ever used Citri Strip?

When i was getting the walls ready for painting, i found out that we have wood baseboards - we thought they were recessed plaster - so i'm stripping them... has anyone used that product? Citri Strip gel. It's supposed to be safer than most of the supertoxic strippers on the market... anyone know if it works well?? How did you finish the wood after str.?

the first coat is on now... any tips?

My goodness ... you guys sure have leaped into the home renovation projects!! Have you left yourself time to sit and enjoy it at all? We forgot to do that part. ;)

I stripped half the floors here using degreaser and elbow grease. Wish I knew about that stuff before. Sorry I don't know what you would do after, maybe stain them? Take a trip to Home Depot, I'm sure someone there may be able to help. I put a triple coat of wax on my floors it sealed them with a shiny coat, and they look great. But I guess you can't do that with baseboards.

allright so the stuff seems to be great so far, but today i had to shop for tacky dashboard garb for this commercial we're shooting this wknd... so NO TIME today. AND it was raining hard ALL day & people lose their minds here when it rains. sidenote: i think it would be funny to drop several inches of snow onto the Miami crowd just to watch them try to drive around :biglaugh:

but hopefully i'll get to work on the baseboards a little tonight.
M, damn girl... ELBOW GREASE & plain degreaser??? & your house looks enormous! You must have looked like T when you were finished :biglaugh: & Jen, yeah, these pastel walls are driving me insane already, so i just HAD to start something. sadly, we haven't had much real HOME gazing time. Worked on the outside for two weekends & then a few projects came to us. & oz is in London for a week & a half after next week, soooo... :huh: i may actually get alot done while he's gone, i never can sleep much when he's away. & the pm should be empty now, thankyou ;)

going to put another quick coat on & then scrape some... i'll update
