First of all......Her pink eye seems to be getting better. I called the vets office and Tommy is going to pick up some ointment for her Monday morning. I've been rinsing them with saline 3 times a day.

This may be TMI but last night I noticed blood on her tail. Her bottom looks inflamed and is bleeding. What in the world could casue this? Do you think worms could make her rear bleed? I'm worried about the lil thing but have zero money for a vets visit and here in ruralville we have no other choice. There's only 1 animal hospital and they charge out the yin yang. I could get her some de-wormer if that could be the cause.

Glad her eyes are getting better!

It could very well be worms, but there are a lot of conditions that could result in blood in feces. I'm not so sure about the inflamed anus, though...that's always one of those "take your cat to the vet" types of warning signs. Poor little kitty. :(

Maybe somebody else might have experience with a condition like this?

when I found peepers, he had everything under the sun. Ear mites, ringworm (which *I* also got, thank you very much). He also had an intestinal worm - I think tapeworm (it comes from fleas). I never saw any blood anywhere, but the vet detected it from traces of blood in his stool. I wish I had an answer for you, but I think whenever you see blood from an orafice that you should call a vet. See if it continues. I know it sucks b/c of the cost... is there a anti-cruelty shelter in town that can advise you??
