haha! I guess you can interpret that to mean a variety of things :eyebrow:, but I'm asking what is your SO's speciality in the kitchen? (got this idea from something D said in another thread...about her DH making the best grilled cheese in town) :D

I'm proud to say that I think my DH makes the best omelettes. :king: He has been making them for me all the time lately and they are just delish!! :lick:

Dh doesn't really cook for me. When I am off from work I do the cooking. He cooks for himself when I am working, and it's usually beef, because I don't make it or eat it.
He does make good brownies though. :)

Tommy makes (of all things) good mashed potatoes. How? I dunno. I was raised on good ol southern spuds where they weren't even considered potatoes unless they had 1/2 pound of salt, enough milk and cream to dehydrate a cow, and more butter that can be churned in one day. He only puts butter and a lil salt in them and they are good :lick:

My baby makes a mean German spaetzle. :lick: Its a recipe handed down from his father and it is fantastic! Even my full blooded German stepmother is amazed. :D

Well, dh DOES make a mean grilled sandwich! But outside of the kitchen, his specialty is that he can fix ANYTHING. I mean it, he can fix anything that is broken. Everything from electrical stuff to zippers... the man can fix what's broken.

My DH is the best with meats. BBQ, smoking, you name whatever it is you want and he does it perfectly every time.:lick:

His buschetta is THE best. And he does a wicked thai peanut chicken salad. And his restaurant work in the past paid off-- he dices and slices like a fiend. Very convenient!:)

DH makes the best ribs on the grill. And he has a real talent for pulling misc stuff out of the pantry and throwing it all together to make something tastey. If I don't have a recipe, I don't even try!

DH does a fab job grilling just about anything! My faves are hamburgers! He also makes the best chicken fried rice and jambalaya I've ever tasted! Hmm...I'm getting hungry!:lick:

Hmm I don't know, DH does basically all of the cooking lately, and he is good at everything. I can't wait to start cooking again though...some days I feel well enough to, but some days just the sight of that much food (in the fridge) makes me really sick.

He claims he makes the worlds best kraft macaroni and cheese. I have to admit that somehow his does taste better than anyone elses I've had...but it still tastes like kraft macaroni and cheese...which isn't that great.

Hmm I guess, even when I don't have morning sickness he is always in charge of cooking all meat (except hamburgers), and he does a really good job with that.

Um, DH doesn't cook and when he does, it's painful to watch because of his chemist's attention to minute detail. :)

He does make a neat sandwich though. They're huge, but he'll put all the good stuff on there just the way you want it! Mmmm.

Pancakes! Yes, I know making these are simple, but he's been the only one to make them so good, even back in his frat days. His buddies don't even call them pancakes, they're HermieCakes (hubbie's nickname)!

That could have come directly out of my mouth Jenn! (surpise, surprise! ) My hubby can take absolutely any mish mash of ingredients and turn it into something delectable. Myself on the other hand, I'm lucky if I can take a list of ingredients, combine them properly and make them edible. Hence, hubby does the majority of the cooking.;)

I would have to say though, one of my favorite things he makes is hashbrowns on weekends. He starts of with just plain hashbrowns, adds everything but the kitchen sink, and they turn out sooooo yummy!:lick:

Oh, and he also makes a mean bowl of cereal! That man, that man! ;)

My DH also makes killer hash browns and/or those little square type hash browns, it takes him like 2 or 3 hours though!

He however can't just get stuff out of the pantry and throw it together, I'm really good at doing that but DH has to have a recipe to follow.

Steak with sauteed (sp?) mushrooms (& sometimes onions) & fried potatoes. My family calls them "Rob potatoes" becuase after I learned how to make them from him I made them for my family one night & they loved them. My little sister always asks me if we're going to make them when she's down & I'm actually cooking.
