I fixed this last night and it is good!! :lick:
2 t. Olive Oil
1 Onion - Chopped
1 Green Pepper - Chopped
1 can Chicken Broth
1 can Mexican style stewed tomatoes
4 cloves garlic - Minced
1 can Black Beans
1 can Kidney Beans
1 can Refried Beans
1/4 t. Cumin*
Heat oil in the soup pot. Add the onion and pepper, cook until onion is transparent. Add chicken broth, tomatoes and garlic. Rinse and drain black and kidney beans, add to pot. Add refried beans and cumin. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Notes: I added chicken to mine. I cubed it and put it in with the onions and peppers. I also had about a 1/2 can of broth open so I added it in addition to the 1 can.
*Because I added chicken and extra broth, you couldn't really taste the cumin. Next time, I'll probably add more cumin.
