30th bday gift idea

Help!!! Our good friend's 30th bday is this Saturday and his wife is throwing him a surprise party. We want to get him something thoughtful, but inexpensive. He's an accountant, his hobbies are sports, video games, traveling, wine, art.....I guess that's about it. Hmmm, that just gave me an idea about getting him a video game. Is that lame? Any other ideas?

If he likes video games and he's a close friend, why not? What sports is he into? Maybe if one of his favorite teams is playing soon, get him tickets to a game? Maybe a nice bottle of wine? :huh:

He likes pretty much every sport.....and pretty much every sporting event held in our area he gets free tickets for from work. LOL! He has the best job....so many freakin' perks. :)

I think we'll probably get him a video game....or maybe a book?? Maybe a big coffee table book on travel or Italy (they are going there this summer). Or maybe on cars. He likes those too. ;)

Dontcha think it's so much easier to shop for a woman?

YES! I think it's much easier to find something for a woman. Although I never have a hard time buying anything for dh... he's so easy to shop for.
