How often do you wear your wedding band and engagement ring? All the time? Just during the day? Only when you go out? Do you wear them on the same hand or separate?

All the time
Seperate hands :D
I actaully have 2 wedding bands, but I only wear one - the other is kept in my jewelry box
I wear my wedding band all of the time. I take my engagement ring off at home cause I don't want to bang it on stuff, but I put it on everytime I leave the house.
I wear both of them on my left ring finger, with my band first (cause it's closest to my heart).

The only time I take mine off is to clean them!!! I waer them on the same hand my left on the ring finger. My husband has never taken his off! They are something so special that you give each other on your wedding day that why would you want to take them off?;)
Did you know the reason why you wear it on your left hand, ring finger is that is the only place that a vein run directly to your heart.:D
I wear both of mine on the same hand for most of the day. I take them off to sleep and when doing things where they might get dirty/dinged up/fall off (playing with playdough, washing dishes, etc.). The reason I take them off at night is that I shower in the morning and my fingers are swollen so that I can't take them off...then I get in the shower and they slide right off with the soap. :p Even though I take them off pretty often, I constantly feel for them with my thumb to make sure they're there & it feels odd if I don't have them on.
How bout you, C? What prompted the question?

I wear them both on my left hand, wedding band first then my engagement ring. I sometimes wear them around the house, but not all the time (depends what I'm doing) and I always wear them when I leave the house.

I wear mine in the day time, but have to take them off a night since my fingers swell up so bad. If I don't, my whole hand hurts constantly:( That's the only ring I wear, so it's pretty special to me:heart:
I had my engagement ring saudered (SP???) to my wedding band, and I sometimes regret that because alot of times I'd just wear the wedding band if possible. I have a heart shaped diamond (1/4 carrat) so the bottom "point" is pretty sharp, and I feel like I'm always scratching something or somene with it. (on the other hand, DH knows not to mess with me:D:p)

I wear my band all the time (it is very thin so it doesn't make my finger swell). I had my engagement ring and wrap sautered together and I take them off as soon as I get home from work. I always wear them when I leave the house!
DH wears his 24/7...

I have an e-band and wedding band and I wear them both on my left hand. I wear mine when I leave the house. But when I get home I take them off b/c I don't want to bang/ding/dirty them. I can't sleep with them on b/c my fingers swell, not comfy at all.
DH wears his out, but all jewelry comes off the moment he enters the house, where ever he is standing.

I wear both of mine on my left hand (band first then engagement ring), pretty much all the time. The only time I take them off is if I'm putting lotion on my hands, so that it doesn't get in under the diamonds and muck my rings up. Once in a while I'll take them and my diamond earrings out when I go to bed, just to give my fingers and earlobes a breather. Hubby wears his ring all the time, except for when he golfs or plays hockey, cause it's uncomfortable.

I wear mine together on my left ring finger, all the time. Well, I take off my engagement ring when I go to bed - I have this fear that it will get banged or caught on something. It also comes off when I'm gardening or doing other messy stuff. My wedding band rarely comes off, I think I've been out without it one time.
I'm getting my e-ring appraised right now and I'll be without it for about 2 weeks. It feels very weird to not wear it!

Same thing w/my dh. I'll find his ring in the strangest places (and almost every morning I hear, "have you seen my ring? My watch? My wallet??)

All the time! Has anyone ever had to have theirs re-golded (I forget what its actually called)... around the clasps of mine, it is apparently gold plated (why? not sure)... anyway, it gets "dull" and you have to have it refinished... apparently hair care products are very hard on the plating? I had no idea about this, til I took my ring in to have it cleaned. Grrr. The jewler that made my ring will do it for free, but apparently every few years of wear and tear will make this necessary. How annoying! I try to take it off to do my hair nowadays...
I wear my wedding band all the time on my left hand. I use to wear the engagement ring all the time too, until I lost the diamond at the restaurant. :(
I still have the ring, just haven't gotten a new diamond for it. Don't know if I will. I am not really a jewlery person, so I don't mind just wearing the band. :)

I wear my rings all the time. My e-ring & wrap are saudered (SP?) together becuase the wrap wasn't designed for the ring so it had to be split then offset & reattached. I only take mine off for cleanings & to dry underneith it after washing my hands.
Rob takes his off the shower, do the dishes & a few other times.
I'm not too worried about losing anything off of it since when we purchases it we bought the replacement plan. As long as I take it back to them every 6 months for a cleaning if anything happens to it they replace it at full value. They kept using the example of dropping it in the garabe disposal so I feel safe about it. ;)

Meliz, is your band white gold? I used to have to get mine treated with rhodium (sp) every 6-9 months. It's common with white gold rings... I guess there is some yellow gold even in white gold, and wear and tear (along with your body composition) can break down the white gold and make it dull.
Dh got me a new platinum band for our 2yr anniversary, so I don't have to do the rhodium treatment anymore.

Yes D that's it exactly! Never thought of the upgrade option... must drop some hints maybe :) ...
I had no idea that this was a feature of white gold...

I wear my wedding band 24/7, but I only wear by e-ring occassionally, on my right hand. It's an emerald cut and doesn't fit over my band.:(

I forgot to mention that I couldn't wear it for the last couple months of my pregnancy with Roni. A few months after she was born my hands still hadn't gone down so I had my ring resized so I could wear it again. It didn't end up costing us anything either thanks to the policy I mentioned before.

I wear both my engagement ring and wedding band on my left ring finger during the day. I usually don't take them off until I go to bed. Something about having jewelry on all the time makes me claustrophobic. Dh wears his all the time except when he takes a shower.
