Ok This one is bothering me! My Cat has the worst gas I have ever smelled from anything living or dead. We have a flat screen so he loves to lays behind it, so I will be typing away and all the sudden it hits. OMG is it awful  It is enough to curl your nose hairs!" Does anyone else have this problem.

Sounds like Vinnie needs a diet change, poor old fella
My girlfriends dog (neopolitan mastiff) has the worst gas I have ever smelled - and remember I grew up next door to pigs. She bought him cheap food, and she would also give him canned food every morning mixed in with his dry.... it was awful. We doggie-sat for a week, and I changed his diet, I couldn't handle the smell that came from that animal. By the time he went home, he was already less stinky.. but then she put him back on the same diet and he still stinks. I don't know how she lives with him.
Try changing kitties diet - do it slowly though, or it might get worse. I feed our cats Purina One - they LOVE it! Loads more energy, their coats look healthier, their breath doesn't smell as bad (cats have horrible breath, lol). Plus Purina One is fairly cheap, or at least a lot less then something like Iams or Science Diet. Go to Purina One (http://www.purinaone.com/) and sign up for their 30 day challenge - they'll send you a coupon for a free 8lb bag of cat food. There's nothing else you have to do either - just sign up, and then compare your kitty to now and then.
Just think how you feel when you have real bad gas... then think about poor kitty with his bad gas.

Sounds like poor Vinnie needs a change in diet. Try gradually decreasing the amount of wetfood you give him until you can stop it all together. I can't tell you what a difference that has made in my cat's (and my nose's -- LOL) life! Seriously, I feed my baby Purina One Senior Formula dryfood and that's it. Her gas is literally non-existent, her stools are much firmer and less stinky, and I feel better b/c I know how much healthier it is for her.
BTW, FarmGirl......ummm, excuse me but my little girl does not have stinky breath. It's wonderful breath! ;)

our Mr. Peepers used to be stinky but I switched him to Iams wet and dry food when he was a kitten. It really makes a difference in everything, including the litter box odor.
Now, if I could find a food that would correct his attitude problem...

I do not give Vinny wet cat food that gives him the runs.
And I already feed him Purina for indoor cats. I guess he will have to go on the same brand as Grendall it is called solid gold. The stuff is not cheap. Oh well as long as my baby is happy.
