My friends are my friends because of their good heart, ability to make me laugh, being there when I need a shoulder to cry on, and sticking by me through good and bad. It doesn't matter what they look like. Anyone with a good heart is beautiful in my eyes. Religion doesn't matter either. I know a girl that picks her friends based on their social status. That ticks me off. I have rich friends, poor friends, tall/short/large/thin friends, jewish/catholic/atheist/etc... friends.

Friends come in all sizes, shapes, colors & religions to me. I couldn't care one way or the other as long as they are respectful of others feelings.

I have no discrimination towards who I am friends with, but I've found that I tend to "click" better with people who have similar values (and in many cases, similar backgrounds) as I do. There just seems to be a better understanding between us.

To me: friends r people who I can depend on when I'm in a real dilemma, giving me a good time, sharing the good and the stinky stuff :p

my closest friends are my husband, we share alot in common, like family values, spiritual beliefs and usually politcal beliefs. My girlfriend Sheila. She is the sweetest down to earth girl i know ( nothing like myself) but she is a wife and mother of 2 kids and it's nice to have another SAHM mom as a friend. And my Online friend Prajnan from India. He has a huge heart and is very insightful. He is coming to meet my family next year!!
