Bamboo?

I am getting ready to move, and would like to take some of the bamboo that is growing in my yard to my new house. Is transplanting bamboo difficult? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link - there was a lot of helpful info there. Sounds like a lot of work, but I think I can manage. This is my first home, and I want to take something from it that will grow and multiply, so I can always have a piece of my first home with me. Something to tell the grandkids about you know... ;)
