Mine were doing great!One even got real tall & lanky & then bloomed....now they are all dying!!!Is it the Texas heat or is it something I did??

Sorry bout that,I think everyone is enjoying the summer, I know I am. In the summer I spend less time online and less time watching tv too.

But anyway back to what you were saying... What kind of plants are they??????

They are Dusty Miller plants thats all I know about them...I tried posting a pic, but it didnt work! Hey thanks for replying.

Cultivation: Plant in full sun in well drained fertile soil. Cut second season plants back early in the spring to promote fresh new growth. Tolerates dry conditions well. Excellent for rock gardens, containers and borders.
Propagation: "Hardy Dusty Miller" can be grown from seed planted directly in the ground in early spring. For quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center.
Potential pests ~ diseases: Rare.


Almost every site I went on said this same thing. Plant in FULL sun, but make sure the soil drains well.

Thanks for the info!Im in zone 9 & mine were in full sun.After planting them next to the porch they did better.I must have just over-watered then.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner. My mom always had dusties. It was the only plant she couldn't kill. Don't know that she did anything special (she probably never wattered them inless she was watering the brown grass :D ).

I tried my hand with them over the last few years. They grew great last year but only 1/2 came back from the winter. So far they are nothing special but its still a little early in our growing season.
