I have a little place in front of the house that I want to plant some flowers. Right now, I have 2 bushes of mums, tulips and a small Japanese maple tree.

I want some kind of flower or bush or anything that stay alive from Spring to end of Fall. Mums - almost end of summer until end of fall. Well at least mine anyway. Tulips are all gone months ago. Now it looks so dead.

What can I plant there that will keep the front nice and "green" all spring, summer & fall?

Thanks

What about lilies? Mine are green starting in the spring (as the stalks grow), bloom for a couple weeks around end of June/early July & then the blooms fall but the green stalks (w/leaves) remain.

Where do you live? What zone rather? That way I can see what plants are best for your climate.

Well not really knowing what you want I'll make a few suggestions,,

Mexican Heather is a pretty green plant that produces a small purple flower all over it,, and it likes a filtered light and can tolerate some full sun areas,, grows about 2ft tall and is a bushy one too,,

Confederate Jasmine is green all year round and cold tolerant as well and when they bloom the smell is wonderful,, [Spring and Fall],,

What sort of sunshine do you get in that area,, How tall do you wish the flowering plant to get??
