Hi,

My hubby and I are getting 2 new kittens next week and since I haven't had pets during my adult life (although I did grow up with them), I'm feeling as anxious as a new mother : - ) I've been reading a book on indoor cats (ours will be solely indoors) and it warns that kittens (and cats in general) are sensitive to cleaning producs because they pick up the fumes with their paws and then they lick them. Are standard cleaning products such as 409, Tilex, etc., safe for kitties? Thanks!! Oh, and lemme know if this should be posted instead in the pets section!

Hi Csara,

I definitely will! I'm really excited about them; we get to pick them up next Friday! We've definitely gone overboard in planning for them; I've already collected a box of toys and treats and we splurged on a multi-level cat tree (over 5 feet). : - )
