How clean is your house?

Anyone ever watched this show on Lifetime? It's hilarious. It comes on Monday's at 11pm. After seeing some of the houses on that show I feel like mine is spotless!

:lol: I know. I'm feeling pretty rotten about my house right now. I figure I have 2 options. 1. Clean or 2. Watch the show tonight :D
I'll probably do a little of both. That way I'll feel really good when I'm watching it.

I have never seen or heard of it before. I just spent hours last night dusting and cleaning my house and steam cleaned the carpets today. Still don't feel like it is spotless even though it is 100% better. Maybe I should watch it and then I will feel great about my house! :)

I LOVE that show!!! And I especially love that the proper british ladies have fur on their cleaning gloves!!! I've GOT to add that to mine!!! Surely it would make cleaning more fun!!!

Yes! I live in a virtual hospital compared to some of these people! But honestly, you get some GREAT tips from the show! Like Tide and an aluminum pan with hot water will clean your silver!!! Totally cool!!!

Yonks.........it airs at 11:30pm too. One full hour of it on Mondays :D

THF.......it does have some cool tips. I wish they would give all their secrets away. Those ovens that are completely crusted over.......ICK. Mine is bad, or at least I thought it was until I watched that show. I can never get it "clean clean" tho. There are some baked on spots that dynomite wouldn't blast off. I don't know how they get everything that spic-n-span.

Dancer......you go! Send me some of your energy/motivation. I'm sure lacking in both of those departments.

Stayed up and watched it last night! How do people live that way?! Guess you just get used to it or something! The bathrooms :barf: !!! I've been in roadside gas station toilets that looked better!!!!

haha, I don't think you want any of my true motivation...!
we have 4 cats, so it is a must! I used to clean every few days when I wasn't working over the summer and had just moved in with DH when we ere married. Now I am student teaching and teaching dance, so I really only clean clean the house every weekend. The carpets getting shampooed was due to one of DH's cats having a urinating problem and going on our carpet (any anything that was on the floor). :fmad: I finally had had it and kicked her to the basement yesterday and got the house good and clean for once. That right there is motivation! That's is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone!

Okay - I saw this again the other night and y'all! Please! I honestly cannot believe that grown people live the way the folks on that show do! AND they actually let people SEE that they LIVE THAT WAY!!! I would be morified!!! There was a single girl who would throw her shoes in the tub to dry when her cat threw up on them... the tub was FULL of shoes! So WHERE DID SHE BATHE!!!!!?????!!! :chub:
