filled shredded wheat?

Does fruit filled shredded wheat still exist? For some reason my husband is craving for fruit filled shredded wheat. I don't anybody make them anymore. Has anybody seen some lately?

No, I think they discontinued them. I used to love these and have not been able to find them in the last couple of years.

Not sure what they are called. My husband said they were either made by Nabisco or Kellogs.

They were called Fruit Wheats! I just found a website for cereal in the 80's. :-)

Fruit Wheats
Like Shredded Wheat with fruit fillings. Raisin was the flavour I remember eating, but I believe there was also apple and possibly strawberry. Yellow, rather plain box with dark brown writing. The commercials aired all the time, and had a kid asking how they got the fruit inside Fruit Wheats cereal (reminiscent of the old Tootsie Pop commercials, just with an annoying guy in a castle instead of the turtle).

We were talking to our friends from AR, said they still see fruit filled shredded wheat in their grocery stores. We got a box from them yesterday. :) It's made by Kelloggs. They have a store locater on their website for their "hard to find" cereals. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere in Idaho, or where my folks live, or in either of the states my grandparents live. Does anyone know anywhere online you could buy it? I've got a bad jonesing for this stuff now, lol.

Kellogg's store locator function doesn't work real well. I've wrote them about getting the fruit filled shredded wheats to the area but they told me to talk to the local grocery stores. So I did but I haven't heard anything back either. I think we're just out of luck!

Did you ever receive a response to this inquiry? I was recently in China where they served it, and I LOVED it as well and would like to be able to get it in the states.
