easy maintenance?

any suggestions on easy maintenance landscaping? we have a lot of shade in the front, not much sun at all even though it's always hot. I need suggestions on some easy maintenance plants that don't need a ton of sun or water. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance!

Hostas are great plants for the shade. You can get ones that are all diferent colors and shapes. Good luck! Post pics when you are done!;)

Thats what I was gonna suggest as well. My MIL has a bunch in her backyard & she gets hardly any direct sun back there due to a large tree.

Most species of ilillies & iris do well in shade. I have had both on the north side of my house where there is no direct sun at all & both of these have done very well and are more or less maintenance-free.
