I need ideas to get back into the cooking groove. What are yours and your family's favorite main dishe(s)?

I do all of the cooking. Here are some staples:
Grilled pork chops..I use various rubs: cajun, sea salt and pepper, teriyaki, asian sauces, etc.
Steaks - tbone, filet, etc
Pork loin: I buy them premarinated from BJ's: teriyaki, peppercorn, lemon and garlic...easy cause throw in the oven for an hour at 375 (internal temp 160).
Chicken:
Our new favorite is tysons buffalo wings. I modified cooking to 15 minutes at 400, then 20 at 375. Makes them crispy and cooks off most of the fat.
Quick on the go is George forman with marinated chicken breasts. Either teriyaki, italian dressing, or cajun rub
Ribs: lloyds has the best pork ribs I've tasted. I don't bother making from scratch anymore. One rack is perfect for 2 people.
Quesidillas: so much variety! Perfect for using any of the above leftovers. I make both flour and corn~ get salsa, 3 cheese pregrated and whatever else is handy and cook either on the grill or use two skillets.
I get most of the above items from BJ's..usually stock up every other week.
No more fast food/take out saves enough money to get good quality and quantities while always having something to cook in the house.
Favorite side items:
Always have veggie platter with dinner... carrots, brocholi, cauliflower, and celery with some form of dressing.
Ceasar salads are a favorite
Artichokes ~ always a hit and easy to prepare! I make a whole pot of them and then put in individual containers for later eating either hot or cold.
I have lost 35 pounds since last January since I took over meal planning!
Hope this gives a couple of ideas...I'm always looking for new recipes.

This is my all-time fave, tastes just like regular lasagna, but not as heavy!
Artichoke Spinach Lasagna
1 cooking spray
9 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 (14 ounce) can marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 (28 ounce) jar tomato pasta sauce
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 (4 ounce) package herb and garlic feta, crumbled or parm cheese
ricotta? mix w/ the mozz.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium-high. Saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes, or until onion is tender-crisp. Stir in broth and rosemary; bring to a boil. Stir in artichoke hearts and spinach; reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in pasta sauce.
Spread 1/4 of the artichoke mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish; top with 3 cooked noodles. Sprinkle 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese over noodles. Repeat layers 2 more times, ending with artichoke mixture and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle crumbled feta on top.
Bake, covered, for 40 minutes. Uncover, and bake 15 minutes more, or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Makes 8 servings

That looks great, Tigerlily! Thanks!! :)
Thanks, Meatball, for the ideas!
Last night I made teriyaki chicken chunks w/ onions and pineapple for hub.
Tonight I made pasta with turkey meatsauce.
I am finally able to tolerate making dinner again. I can't always eat it, but atleast my DH can enjoy my cooking again. :)

we are big on lowfat mexican dishes. I also love to do grilled or roasted chicken with mashed potatoes or rice and a veggie. Simple, but good and healthy (if you cook with lite ingredients).
Lately I have been roasting a whole chicken on the weekends and then making chicken soup or chicken ceasar salad out of the leftovers. I made a TON of homemade chicken stock and froze it in 2 cup portions too. I'm really trying to do 'cook once, eat twice' type meals. Now that I'm home full time, I almost always have leftovers for lunch.
