Was just watching Emeril and had to get out of bed to post this so I wouldn't forget (LoL). Anyway....does it bother anyone else that he constantly touches raw meat and then goes straight to EVERYTHING else like all of his equiptment and dishes and vegetables, etc without EVER washing his hands?? Ugh, it grosses me out so much. I'm probably over anal about it, but I constantly wash my hands in the kitchen after touching any sort of raw or undercooked meat.

I had never noticed that before but find it QUITE shocking. Reason being, Noah got Emeril's set for kids for Christmas (because my little man is going to be the best chef in the world one day). It came with spoons, a pot, an apron, some spices, but most importantly the cookbook.
Well, in the cookbook (which I highly reccomend for those of you with kids) "There's a Chef in My Soup", Emeril stresses (maybe overstresses) the importance of washing your hands. HAH! Practice what you preach my man; those little eyes may be watching.

eeewwwww. I guess I didn't notice that but your right. He just wipes his hand on that towel he slings over his shoulder. I used to watch him but I swear if I hear "BAM" one more time.......:banghead:

I am constantly watching the food network, and I watch Emeril. I have never noticed that before.

Tommy did notice on the show that was just on that he was using a metal spatula on a non-stick griddle.
