painting basement

I'm having my basement painted. it currently has fake wood paneling - a walnut brown color. I'm having it painted a very pale shade of green. Should I also paint the walnut-colored doors that color or leave them alone? Would it be too much of the pale green to paint them the same, or should I just leave them the way they are. The basement is in a standard ranch-style house - I have a bathroom door, a door to upper floor and a door to laundry room. Appreciate any responses to my question. Thanks. Gail

I think it would look good to leave the doors their natural wood color. Did you make a decision yet?

:gl: I agree - leave them natural. Unless you're going to change all the downstairs trim and paint it a contrasting color - I'd leave them the wood so that there is a nice contrast.
