The cold water in my washer is so slow, it acts like it's stopped up but I took the hose off and cleaned the screen, it was hardly dirty, any thoughts on what it could be and what do I do?

Do you have hard water para? Might it be a calcium build up or something?

Yes I do, I cleaned the screen but I was reading that there is a Silenoid in there (who woulda thought?) So that may be my problem, It appears I will have to call a repair company unless I can figure out what a silenoid is? and can I replace it?

Paragon - one of us (members) is a washing machine expert. I can't remembers who... but if you search the threads (I'll try to look to) one of us really KNOWS HER STUFF and can probably help you.

Poor Paga,
The boss took a day off! He called in and left a message that he wont be in today. I guess cause we are not that busy.
But as soon as I get my hands on him I will ask him and post...
From "The Expert" (OH that sounds so darn good)

HI Para,
I am so sorry I have taken so long to get back to you, but we have been a little busy.

Ok, he said, without looking at it, it sounds like a bad water vavle, which should run you about $120 installed, w/parts. Now thats the rate that it goes for here, I dont know about where you are.

Once again, I am so sorry this took so long..
