What kind do you use? Are the digital ones better than the conventional ones? And what brands are the best?

I've always had trouble in this area, and need a good one I can rely on! TIA!!

I use a digital one from Bed Bath and Beyond. I like it - it's accurate, and it has a LONG cord from the meat probe to the actual device. It also has an 'alert' button, so when I specify a temp, it sounds. I love it, can't cook without it.
