What are you getting your mom/MIL?

LOL! I don't have a jewelry box!! I totally want one though. :D I think that'll have to be something I buy for myself sometime soon.

my mom just bought a house, so my sisters and I are combining her mother's day and birthday gift (her b-day is in June). We are getting her a gift certificate to Home Depot. Not too personal, but hey, she needs a new dishwasher and some light fixtures!!

We always get my stepmom a nice plant, an orchid this year.

My MIL, don't know... dh rarely sends her a card for mother's day (bad, bad son!!!)

I don't have a clue. LOL We don't usually make a huge fuss over the day... Don doesn't even hardly take the time to say "Happy Mother's Day" to me. Hopefully, my boys will be a bit more thoughtful than he is! :rolleyes:

We're buying Mike's Mom something for her needlepoint, just not sure what yet.

My Mom amd Dad just re-did their kitchen, so she's getting something to go in there, along with a copy of Mart's (Meliz's) new book!:D

We are getting my MIL a grandbaby charm with Johannes' name on it for her charm bracelet. Not for sure what we're getting my mom. She collects teacups and saucers, so we may get her a really pretty one to put in her new kitchen.

My mom and I were talking about a week ago about perfumes we liked and she said she loves Channel No. 5 but she can't afford it!!! I'm thinking thats what I will get her!!! And maybe some flowers she loves fresh flowers!!!

A girl I work with wears Chanel No. 5 and it smells SO GOOD. Very floral! Good idea Sunny. I want some too. May have to treat myself to a Mother's Day present. lol!

I have to chime in on that one! Last year, B made a big show of talking to Naomi about how it was Father's Day within my earshot. I had completely forgotten. Those first six weeks are SO busy. Anyway, I did tell him I was sorry for forgetting...then pointed out how HE let Mother's Day pass without a single word. We'll see what happens this year since we're celebrating Naomi's birthday that weekend. LOL

Anyway, we're not big into presents in my family. I usually just tell my mom happy Mother's Day and give her a hug. :) I'm actually hoping B won't call his mother. :screwu: OH! SORRY about that!
