Anyone making a special meal for mother's day this year? I usually make brunch for my family, but this year the circumstances have changed so much. My parents are away and one of my grandmas has alzheimer's and has gotten significantly worse this year so she doesn't even know who any of us are anymore. She can't really leave the house. Also, being pregnant, I'm not really in the mood to go through a ton of trouble. So, what DH and I are doing on Sunday is picking up my (other) grandma and taking her to breakfast. Then later in the day, his parents and brother are coming over and DH is going to be in charge of BBQing for dinner. How about the rest of you - what are you doing?

All I know is that David told me that I get to rest!!
We will probably just grill some chicken or something. Something easy, where we can all enjoy the day...

Probably nothing much... Don works on the weekends, so I'll be home alone with the boys. It'll be "just another day" for me. LOL

We're going out after church. That's my only request this year is that we all go to church as a family and then out for a nice brunch/lunch. I didn't get reservations at the local restaurant I wanted though -- they've been booked up for weeks! http://www.verandakingwood.com/pages/206402/index.htm (http://www.verandakingwood.com/pages/206402/index.htm)
