Bridal Shower

I will be hosting a bridal shower for a friend's daughter on a Sunday afternoon in August. I am not sure if I just want to do appetizers and a dessert or a luncheon. I don't mind doing either. What do you folks think a good menu would be?

You can always do salads. A big green salad and a caesar salad w/ options to put a protein on the side or on top such as grilled chicken, tuna salad, egg salad, grilled fish or shrimp. Then have a choice of several different breads and dressings.....and ofcourse a nice array of desserts.
