Listen to this one next year my Best friend is getting married on June 25th I am her matron of honor! I am so excited! Then another friend asked me to do the readings in her wedding and she also asked if my girls can be in it, so of course I agreed! Well she just set her date, are you ready for this? June 24th!!!! How the blankity blank am I going to do this I know my Best friend is going to have to come first I already told her I would help her set up the day before the wedding and go out and do girly things with her. Well when I told the other girl she said to me "Well I guess you are going to have to be super women!" She does not even have anything booked yet so I secretly hoping she can not find a place for that date!

Oh my, that stinks! Couldn't they try to spread out the fun for you? ;) haha. It will stink if you can't go to your best friend's rehearsal dinner. But if you are not a bridesmaid, you probably wouldn't have to spend the entire day getting ready for the june 24 wedding- maybe you could spend that morning helping your best friend and do fun things with her.. well, it depends on what time the june 24 wedding is I guess.... but it might work! Maybe she won't work it out for that day!!!! ;) :crossed: hahaha. GOOD LUCK!

Since you agreed to be the MOH for your best friends wedding BEFORE you agreed to do anything for the other friend, the MOH duties should take priority. On the 24th do the readings at the other friends wedding. Make a presence at the reception, give your congrats, and move on. That's what I would do, unless I was having a menstrual moment and got nasty :D

I'm not even sure if I wouldn't go as far as to tell the other girl, "Gosh, I want to be a part of your wedding so much, and I am so excited that you thought of me, but I would not feel right neglecting some of my MOH duties for my best friends wedding, and part of those duties fall on the rehearsal night."
Maybe it will force her to choose another date! Or if not, at least you will be able to truly enjoy your BF's wedding. That seems more important to you, and it should be really. :) I'm thinking in terms of my best friend-- I would never want to miss a moment of her wedding bliss! I flew to florida for hers! :)
Good luck, hon. :crossed: I know it will work out just fine.
