Kroger?

Do ya'll shop at Kroger? Do they still have double coupon days? Does the Kroger plus card save money? I got on their site www.kroger.com (www.kroger.com) and it has a list of weekly sale items at the Kroger nearest you and they have coupons that they put into your plus card......sounds cool. I'm going to call the number and order a card.........but in your opinion is it cheaper to shop at Kroger with the plus card than a regular (no value card place) grocery store?

Yes, the Plus card is awesome. We love the prices at Kroger. Wonder if they still do double coupons? I'm not a coupon person. But for DOUBLE I might consider it!

I have no Krogers near me, so I can't give an educated answer on that topic. But, I find that I almost can't afford NOT to shop at Super Walmart for our groceries. Now, I hate that b/c I do NOT like to patronize Warmart really. I'm not a fan. But, their brand of items is usually very cheap in the grocery section (whatever their brand is -- I can't remember their generic name). At least I find french fries and all that to be really low on price there. I prefer Meijer for most things, and I go to Marsh a lot and use their savings card... but these are all just b/c I have them locally.

Kroger's card idea w/ coupons sounds awesome. maybe when I move I'll find a kroger nearby!

I feel the same way about super walmart. There are some things that are cheap and/or at least good deals but other things......OUTRAGEOUS! WalMart use to be the "poor mans store" but not anymore. I have found that they have went up on everything. It's almost as expensive to get household items there as it is as JCPenny during a sale and IMHO Penny's items are made better.

Wooohoooo!!!!! Glad I have been clipping coupons! When we had a Kroger here I was like a psycho at the nut hut on double coupon day!
I wonder if that is with the coupons that are actually on the card or if it's any coupons?

We have a Kroger's card, but no Krogers near us. When we go down state, we use it. The new thing that they are doing now is when you buy stuff you can use the savings to get money off gas, but you have to use a Kroger fuel place. All the Krogers here in MI that I have seen don't have a gas station hooked up to them.
