I just got this new cookbook:
Williams Sonoma Italian Favorites and they had a bunch of different gelato recipes. I tried making the banana gelato last night, but realized when I got to the end of the recipe that I needed an icecream maker......which I do not have!!

So, I just put it in the freezer and it came out ok....the flavor is good, but the texture is too icey, not creamy like gelato. Eh!
