Thumbs down Frost?

Well the frost has offically set in here in NY. Of course that leads to the winter months pretty quickly here. I still have to plant some bulbs if I'm going to because it is almost too late. When does the frost set in in your area. I know some here are from the southern states. Does it even get cold enough at night to frost? How nice would that be!!!

I haven't seen frost in nearly 2 years. In the winter, it sometimes dews heavily if it's a chilly night.

No frost here, but it does get colder during the winter months.
Heather, what type of bulbs are you planning on planting?

I want to plant tulips, glads and maybe some others I haven't tried. I had better get going cause I think it won't be too much longer and the white stuff will start flying. We don't like to say "snow" out loud here....

I am not planting any bulbs this year unless I see something that I really like. This past season, I had planted over 100 gladdiolas bulbs, and I didn't even see half of them . Instead, I had planted three snow on the mountain plants where I had planted the bulbs, and will make it into a shrub.

Frost rarely sets in my area... If it does snow it's usually a short snow and a quick melt
