Desperate for Lunch Ideas!

Hi y'all,

Does anyone have lunch idea suggestions? I've been eating the same lunches for the past few months and I'm so sick of them! I generally prefer to eat the same lunch everyday for one week (easier to shop that way) but I'm open to any suggestions! What I generally eat: turkey sandwiches, hummus and chicken wraps, and chicken caesar wraps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

You've sorta already named my fave lunch-- hummus w/ carrots/celery etc. for dipping. Mmm Mmm.

I also take tuna salad quite often-- tuna, some mayo, some diced celery, diced carrots, and chunks of cheese. Delish! If my lettuce isn't rotten and runny I sometimes put it on a bed of greens too.

Egg salad sandwhiches... smoked meat w/ mustard...

Cold spaghetti (I know, grosses alot of people out ). I also like cold curry.

5 bean salad.

Muffins-- there's one I make which is a l/f chocolate bran muffin and you bake a gob of cream cheese in the middle. Is it dessert or is it lunch?

does it have to be cold? if not you can do leftovers from dinner, burritos, soups, chili, baked potatoe....

Otherwise, your lunch ideas already sound good. I like meliz's ideas too.....tuna salad and egg salad are always favorites of mine. Oh and pasta salad or just a big mixed salad with or without chicken, turkey, shrimp...whatever meat or protein you like. Yogurt and granola.

HI there

I'm on a fairly strict diet, so I know some great substitutes for fattier foods that are also easily transported for lunch.

Melba toast with light cheese and salsa are great. Light tuna with bread, tomato and cheese make a great tuna melt if you have access to a microwave or toaster oven.

Rice cakes taste way better than they used to and with some flavoured (Thai Chili is my favourite) tuna it makes a great snack.

Macaroni or potatoe salad are good. I make a white potatoe/sweet potato salad that is good.

That's all I've got for now.
