Do you have a home office? - Home Office

Home offices are not only for those that exclusively work at home. I think a lot of people have an office space at home for working on bills, finances and budgeting....or even a hobby that involves the computer. So, do you have one? What do you primarily use it for?

We have one. Neither of us work from home, but we have our computer and files (bills, personal, medical, etc) in there. I use it primarily to pay bills. We both do most of our computing at work so we rarely use the internet at home.

We also have the changing table in there. Since the kids share a room, we didn't have room for it in their bedroom so it's in the office. It's actully more convenient to have it in there since it's closer to the living room and kitchen where we spend most of our time.

We don't really have a home office per say...we have a computer area upstairs and a reading room downstairs that has two walls filled with books and a comfy leather chair to sit in if anyone wants to read. Our filling cabinet is in the reading room but we bring whatever we need to pay bills upstairs.

We have a corner of the living room that is our office area. With the boys getting on the internet now I like to monitor their activity.

We do have an office at home but nothing ever happens there... we just had my grandpa's furniture from his office, which is beautiful, and fortunately got some space for it...

We live in a house built by a lithograph artist, so her former studio is now our "office"-- it's a mammoth and rather ugly giant room (but has a great view). Apart from the aesthetics, it has miles of book shelves and two walls are desk/work areas (but we have a corner desk which we use for a work space)... with hub working from home now, we use it ALOT. This room has also convinced us of teh value of the built in bookshelf-- this is something we will definitely have in any house we own.

Our office is a gorgeous room. It is actually a sun parlor with windows around the whole room. We really don't use it. It has a desk, file cabinets, and all of our clutter. It is seriously a mess right now. I need to get in there and get it functional!
