Are your taxes done?

We have ours put together but we do Turbo Tax so we just have to print and send them in. Do you do yours or do you have them done? I am pleased to say we will get a small amount back. Unfortantly we owe my MIL money so it will go to her but at least that debt will be paid off. Do you spend yours like a free shopping spree or do you pay bills or do you save it.......or do you pay in? I'm just curious.

We always have to pay taxes.....and they are always complicated so we have them done by an accountant. Unfortunately even though we have them done, it is still a ton of prep work for us.

Ours are done and sent it in! WooHoo!! We are getting a refund, which we usually do. We typically pay some bills and save the rest to pay our property tax at the end of the year and to get a start on Christmas money too.

We have ours done (I can't stand taxes). They are done, submitted, the refund is back, cashed & half spent (waiting on some figures to spend the rest).

I am so close, yet so far. At the beginning of this month, I sat down and worked through it all. But I still have a couple of questions before I finish and I have yet to seek help on those topics. Ugh! All it will take are a couple of phone calls, but I just haven't done it yet. We are getting a refund too... you'd think that would help me get my act together.

We have an accountant that handles ours. We just have to get everything together - so we don't quite have it all "gathered" yet. But we always get money back. Still should this year - although I know I've got to pay a bit (I'll send a check in with the taxes) to cover some stocks I had to take a cashout for - but we'll still get money back... YEAH!

Ugh. Our T 4s just arrived. We are currently in a bit of a marital dispute-- C wants to tackle them on his own; I want to take them to someone to investigate about claiming some of our home expenses as home-based work since I write books on the side... not to doubt him, but I think that will get more complicated than he thinks/can handle. Luckily, we are poor enough to be getting $ back-- hahahahaha. Hub thinks to the tune of $5 grand. Good gawd I hope he is right!

not even close. Dh does our taxes (w/Turbo Tax) but next year, off to an accountant (even though we will still have to spend a lot of time getting all the paper work together).
