I have not been meal planning lately, but I have not been cooking lately either. We went out to dinner almost every night or to someone's house for the past couple of weeks. Now that all the chaos is over....it's back to real life! Time to meal plan again......

We try to meal plan every week, mostly because we hate grocery shopping and just want it over with, so having a list helps it go quicker.

I have really been slacking on the meal planning too - we've got pre-wedding chaos! But on Sunday, I made a big chicken and rice caserole, so we had that last night... we'll probably be going out a lot, or eating (gosh I hate to admit this...) frozen stuff and sandwiches... poor David!

Come over! Cover over!! I want some fried corn! I'll even buy you some icehouse!!
Actually David made really yummy chicken soft tacos last night, tonight I'm making "Chicken Soup Caserole" (easy & delish) and thursday I'll probably pick up some fish and veggies to grill. Friday we'll eat out, Saturday one of the groomsmen is coming to town and they are going to the Univ. of Texas game... so I'll be on my own for din-din (I'll probably have microwave popcorn and a glass of wine )

Silly D!!
Monday--Chinese--homemade. I had to try out my new wok!
Tuesday--I ended up taking Chris out to dinner. Authentic Italian--we had an appetizer sampler with some FABULOUS stuff on it, and a small pizza with marinated veggies and pest. And beer!
Wednesday--gonna go with leftover Chinese
Thursday--probably more leftovers--it's past time to clean out the fridge!
Friday--I think I'll grill a couple chic breast and have grilled chicken salad with my favorite citrus vinegarette
Really this week I can't think too straight...I'm tired for some reason! It's kind of a "catch what you can" for dinner!

Andrew and I have just started planning our weekly menus! We may swap them around or something, but at least we have a basis to what we will eat...we do it for 2 weeks at a time!
Tomorrow night, we'll be planning for the next 2 weeks...so, I'll let ya'll know! But it's great, b/c we go to the grocery store, buy what we need for the next two weeks, and instead of trying to figure out what we're going to eat on the night of, we already know!
