well do you stay organized? who is the most organized person in the house? i know it is not me, but i dont think he is either!!! i need to tak some kind of class on it LOL

ORGANIZED??????? Whats that??
I am the most disorganized person I know. Doug calls my pocket book my file cabinet. I have my bills in it, and my check book, and when its time to pay bills where ever I am, I can just pull out everything and pay away..

My house is always upside down. Which is going to be a big issue with Doug & I, cause he is a neat freak. My sister calls us the Odd Couple LOL..

But I promised him I will work on that. He bought me a REAL file cabinet, but I am not sure what I am supposed to do with it

We are both VERY organized ie. perfectionists and very anal about things. If you can believe this, he is still MORE organized than me.

oh i hate that it is like ashley has lived her for 2 years and he is still asking me over and over where the same thing is!!! ugghhh that makes me mad

Corey and I are well matched-- we're both horribly un-organized (though I admit I am worse). I'm the type to start about 12 different things, and so most of the time I have 12 part-way-completed projects on the go. The good news is that for a brief period, I am finishing the 12 projects, in a flurry of accomplishment. SOrt of organized chaos I think.

My roommate and I are equally neat. It works out well.

I used to be overorganized I had a system for everything. Mark used to be one of those guys where you could find bills from 4 years ago unopened in the laundry basket or somewhere. But since I bought him a computer desk for christmas he stays very organized he loves making folders and little tabs for new stuff. Its cute

How do you organize your bills? I try different methods. My best thing I've done is set alot of my bills to automatic payments.

I have a place on my desk in the office that I keep all incoming bills. I tend to pay bills 2-3 times a month. I get paid the last day of the month and hubby gets paid on the 1st and 15th so I pay bills around those two times. Anything that is due the 15th or before gets paid on the 1st, anything that is due after that is paid on 15th. I pay alot of bills online. I don't have direct debit, but I go to the website and pay through that. I only write 5 checks a month for bills. Once they are paid, I staple the printed receipt from the website or my check duplicate to the original bill and file it right then so I don't get stacks of filing.

I really need to clean out my files, they are getting pretty full.

Wow Joni! That makes me feel pretty unorganized!! I really just pay them whenever the time is approaching that they're due. I have a little wicker basket that has sections, and it sits in an off place in the kitchen. It's worked for me b/c I never forget about them while they're sitting there. I don't like to pay them online, but I think I'm in the minority on that one.
