Your kitchen counter top?

What appliances do you have sitting on your kitchen counter top? Do you only have things out that you use daily or are you guilty of keeping things out that you don't use all the time? I know I should put my blender and probably coffee maker (since I don't really use it anymore) away to clear up some counter space....

Our microwave, toaster and bread maker (that one we hardly use) are the only appliances out on the counter. The crock pot, coffee grinders (one for coffee and one for grains), food processor and blender all live happily in cabinets. I would love one of those kitchens where you can store your appliances, plugged in, in a little hidey-hole and pull down the door when you aren't using them.

The only thing on our counter is a microwave. We use that all the time to heat stuff back up!

Toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker... I just tossed the electric can opener... a stupid appliance IMO. We never used it and it was in the way...

microwave, coffee pot, grinder all in use daily.

Mixer - dont' have room to store it so it sits out. (but I did make a cute cover for it so it's not really "out")

The only things we have on our counter are our canisters for flour, sugar, etc., my spcie rack, and my crocks with utensils.

Counter tops.....you mean I have counter tops????

Lets see....the blender, toaster, coffie maker, microwave, spin caddy for utensils, knife butcher block, dish drainer, (guess I could get that out of there since we have a dishwasher now!) bread basket, basket of flowers (although that could be moved) and my flour, sugar and brown sugar canisters (but they are pretty, so I like them sitting out!)

We have the majority of our appliances on shelves in the pantry. Even the veggie steamer and grill which we use all the time. We do have our microwave, toaster, and coffee maker out all the time though. I'm looking so forward to the new house because we get an over the stove built in microwave. Yay! So that will give us back a good chunk of wasted space.

Yes, the over-the-stove microwave is great....we have that, but I do still have too much on my counters...... cooking utensils in holder, blender, knives, toaster, bread basket (on top of toaster), coffee pot. Behind the sink, I have wheatgrass, a candle, vase with stones in it....and then on the other side of the sink we have a big area of wasted space, which ends up being a pile of random things like mail, things to go in the recycling bin, sunglasses, etc. LOL! Whadda mess!

Okay, you just asked about appliances! Now we're getting down to the nitty gritty!

Non-appliance things on my countertops:
Cooking utensils
Dish drying rack
Bowl to collect junk, like keys & change & receipts (it's always overflowing)
Couple bottles of wine
Red wine vinegar, Balsamic vinegar, Olive oil
