Bachelorette Finale (spoiler)
WTF?????
I was so disappointed with her choice. I just don't see it with her and Jesse. I felt terrible for Jason and also for Jeremy when he came back to talk to her. She did the EXACT same thing that she was so mad at Brad for.
I just don't understand how she couldn't have even given off the tiniest clue to these guys that it wasn't them. Ugh - so annoying!!! I am starting to hate this show b/c I just don't get it. I don't understand how someone can be falling in love with multiple people and just make up their mind at the last minute who they want to spend the rest of their life with. It's such bull.

I was super disappointed too. I guess I just don't understand what she was looking for. At the end of the rose ceremony I kept thinking, they must have a connection that we don't see or get... but then at the 'after the final rose' show, I thought that she and Jesse looked SO PHONEY. So I don't really buy the whole "we just have an amazing connection" thing after seeing how rediculous and fake they looked at the AFR show. I am still stumped as to why she let go of the last 3 guys.
I feel sick for Jeremy and Jason, but I have a feeling that they are going to do JUST fine.

Ditto!
I don't get it. I don't think I'll be watching any more seasons.
I knew she was going to pick Jesse when they were showing them at her parents. They made it seem like everyone was in love with Jason and that they really weren't too smitten with Jesse. I knew then that she wouldn't pick Jason and it was ABC's way of spinning it to throw people off. I also noticed that when she spoke about the two of them (in the finale), she always said Jesse and Jason, putting Jesse first.
What did you think of Shayne and Matt on ATFR?
Sort of off topic - Did you notice she was "curling" her hair with her flat iron on before the Final Rose ceremony? What's up with that?

omg, I totally thought they were phoney too. Her over-exaggerated "Hon-eeeeeeeeeeey" was so immature and annoying. I did have a feeling she was going to pick him though after watching their dates. Her and Jesse could not stop kissing. It's practically all they showed.
And doesn't it kill you how she could look Jason (and Jeremy in the previous episode) in the eyes and smile at them while they profess their love and then she goes in for a kiss? It's terrible!!!! She must be an actress b/c I certainly couldn't do it. But yes, D, I agree - those two men will do JUST fine. The women will be lining up for them both.
Now about Shayne and Matt - that was strange. I don't know what to think. I mean, it made me smile, but it was kinda weird.....and I didn't find myself liking her as much as I did when she was on the show. Matt seemed quite entertained by her though.

the thing that irked me about her decision is that we watched a romance bloom with Jason (and Jeremy...) and I wanted to see more. I never saw a romantic relationship forming w/Jesse (which, I know, editing....) so it made it really hard to believe that she was/is gaa-gaa over him. I think ABC edited everything for the 'shock' value instead of a romantic, happy ending. I am also sickened with the fact that DeAnna KEPT JASON FROM HIS CHILD for such a long time. IF she wasn't SURE that Jason was going to be the guy, she should have sent him home a long time ago. I think he's better off without her.

You are SO RIGHT about that!!! It's disgusting. I'm sure that is one of the things that bothers him most too.

Oh. my. gawd!! Here is what I think, she really doesn't want to settle down then. I was totally shocked last week when she let Jeremy go. I wasn't keen on him at first but he really grew on me as we got to know him. And I'm sorry I thought Jason was a total catch (kid or no kid!!) and really a good combo between Jesse and Jeremy... Jason has the stability and safety AND also had the fun, adventure side. She's an idiot. LOL!
Funny my husband who would never admit to watching the show ends up getting somewhat invested because I will watch when he is home. He also was like "WTF??" I told him "Next time I start to get emotionally invested in this STUPID show remind me that they NEVER pick who I want them to."
And you guys are right, the editing drives me mad because I know they edit it for the shock factor.
And might I add, she wants to marry the fist bump guy? I mean come on he is a fist bump guy. Ugh!

LOL Brenda!! What gets me too is that she said she was wanting to have 3 kids by the time she is 30. Umm, the chick is 26. And she wants Jesse to be the dad???? Good luck with that. The guy won't even have a job in a few years when he is too old to snowboard.

C- Yeah, the guy didn't even seem to have a clear plan for his future. We were totally laughing at his answers to her family about what is so great about snowboarding... "uuuhhh, it is fun." What kind of answer is that if that is your passion? Makes me wonder if she was so caught off guard for being slightly interested in somewhat so different than her norm that made her think he was the one or something. So weird!
I didn't even watch the after the rose ceremony yet because i was so annoyed. I'll watch it tonight.

well, prepare to be even more annoyed. Even Chris Harrison seemed annoyed. BUT, you get to hear a lot from Jason - he is such a class act.
