Pool maintenance

Okie, I am pretty excited here. We are moving to a new town and found our new place (which we will rent) over the weekend. It's pretty awesome, I must say (way too good for us, to be honest!)... it has in indoor pool-- a lap pool. Having never owned a pool (hub has never had an indoor pool) we are wondering how much maintenance is involved with caring for such a beast? What do you have to do to a pool to keep it up and running, nice and cleanly?

Good question, I can't help you, but the place sounds awesome! I think it really all depends on how much time you have to begin with though.
