Oddly enough, we still have this problem at times. When we were looking for cabinets for the kitchen, we took a slab with us to see how they'd looked together and wow, it just stinks. The smell rubbed off on our hands big time....and we can't figure out what is in the foam backing of the floor slabs. It's so gross.

Hmmm - that's a new one on me C! I'd first call the manufacturer (or e-mail) and explain the problem and see what they suggest. After that - they always recommend just warm water with vinegar if you need to clean - and vinegar does cut and kill smells, so maybe THAT would help.

Past that - perhaps some baking soda in the kitchen cabinets on the bottom (just for now) and some scented candles you dont' have to light? Just trying to think of things to help...
