I couldn't find my old blog so i'll just post a thread here on it.
I redecorated my living room recently. I still have a few lose ends to tie up, like refinishing the stairs, putting on new base trim, new door and door trim and buying rugs, but for the most part it's done. My lighthouses were the inspiration of the living room, but we went a bit broader doing a beachhouse kinda theme. We painted, got a new slip cover did the laminate hardwood floors. We got new window treatments and painted alot of my existing shelving white then distressed it. We also got new light fixtures.
Here is a pic i found from a few years ago that shows the house in the background of my daughters b'day party when we first moved in. Since then the walls were fithly with crayon marks and grubby kid prints, the carpet was destroyed with stains. Feels brand new now and I'm happy with it.
