First time users.....where to begin?

Well, you can begin right here in this forum. You can start your own thread to introduce yourself. OR you can just JUMP RIGHT IN anywhere on the board in any forum, any thread you want.

We are a friendly bunch at Home Talkers and welcome newbies with open arms. Have fun!

Hello. I'm new here (just registered last night), a refugee from the forums at Thathomesite. I got tired of not being able to post in whatever forum I wanted without giving them money! So I'm awfully glad to find you guys.

I'm 30, married, with a 1-yr old son.

I'm also very protective of my online privacy, so that's all the personal info you're likely to get out of me! Hope no one minds. Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone.

That is perfectly alright w/us. We may ask a gazillion questions about likes & dislikes in the different forums but please don't ever feel pressured by us. Most of us are harmless.

Welcome to HT.. Your going to love it here. And I am glad to see another single mom raising a teenager, mine is 18 though, but, I think teenage boys grow slow, cause he still acts like he's 16 LOL...

Hi folks.
I'm Rebecca. Married with 3 kiddos. I work a few evenings a week as a HomeMaker's Rep.(hence the name)
Other than that I enjoy volunteering at my kids schools & trying to keep up with the duties of a Housewife/mommy.
I've enjoyed browsing around the site here & adding my 2-cents worth from time to time.
I just happened to stumble accross the site earlier today while doing an internet search.
My favorite post so far is the "flylady" section. If you haven't read that information yet, you'll really want to do that.
Neat stuff.

Thought I'd come back and introduce myself a bit better... I have a wonderful hubby and am mom to 2 wonderful kids... I used to work as an Asst. Mngr. of a restaurant, but now I stay home. Am currently checking into things I can do here AT home to help earn some $$$.

Hi, just registerd today, I am 31 with three great kids, the boys are 4 1/2 & 6 1/2 and my daughter is 8 1/2.
Found this board form another meassage board, this one sure seems alot more active!
